FMNW Scholarship

FMNW is a volunteer non-profit initiative of the Former Miss Nepals. FMNW was created as a way to come together and use their education, talent and influence to give back to the society that has always supported, loved and respected Miss Nepals. FMNW has worked in raising awareness against menstrual taboos, encouraged environmentally friendly practices like thrifting, and conducted programs for Youth Motivation and Cancer Awareness. Since the covid pandemic hit, FMNW have come to raise funds and donated to various associations for ration, to animal welfare, to women in Terai and PPE kits to volunteers working at border control. They have recently hosted a 5 day learning workshop to raise funds for medical equipment in rural Nepal.

DM Foundation has collaborated with FMNW for one of its biggest projects where scholarship will be awarded to children whose education have been affected since losing their parents to COVID-19, and hence named as FMNW Scholarship. The pandemic has hit many people differently of which children has been most vulnerable after losing their primary caretakers. This scholarship aims to support these children to continue their education and not have to drop out of school. With the belief that the children are the future of our country and education will help them prosper, FMNW and DM Foundation will be dedicated to supporting as many children as possible through the FMNW Scholarship.
